Two types of deadlock are available, the S Series and the T Series. The T Series is a Thatcham accredited lock that ensures a higher level of security. The S Series utilises a Yale Key and may be more suitable under budget considerations. A deadlock is a mechanical device fitted to the vehicle door. It operates by inserting a bolt into a receiver fitted into the adjacent body section when operated by an external key.

As deadlocks are under the control of the driver, they are generally most appropriate for owner drivers or applications where the driver can be relied upon to operate the lock. Kits are vehicle door specific and contain all the required fixings, fittings and instructions to enable a technician to perform a cost effective installation. All cylinders, housings and plugs are plated in a highly durable satin nickel to maintain a consistent and long lasting appearance.

External trims are available as either UV stabilised black nylon as standard or alternatively as satin nickel-plated brass to maintain the aesthetic appearance of the vehicle. Both versions are suitable for fitting to vehicle bodywork without causing damage to paintwork. The keeps and brackets are finished in textured powder coat to prevent corrosion. All the lock cases, cylinders and ancillary components are manufactured to European standards and stringent specifications.
